1. Click on the Manage Your Account tab.
2. On the left navigation bar, click on the Setup One-time Investments link.
3. Enter the ticker symbol for each security you would like to purchase, along with the dollar amount of the investment.
4. Click the Next button.
5. Verify that the investments are correct and click Submit.

1. Click on the Manage your Account tab.
2. On the left navigation bar, click the Buy or Sell Stock Real-time link.
3. Select the type of order (buy or sell) you would like to place and enter the ticker symbol.
4. Enter the number of shares (as a whole number with no decimal point).
5. If you are selling, and would like to, you can click the box to include partial shares.
6. Select either Market Order or Limit Order. If you are placing a limit order, also select the price that you would like and whether the order should be Good Until Cancel or if it should Expire at end of today.
7. Once you are finished entering your order, click Preview Order.
8. Verify that the information is correct, if so click Submit.

Once your Real-time Trade has been completed, you will be able to immediately view your trade confirmation online by following the instructions below:

1. Click on the Manage Your Account tab.
2. On the left navigation bar, click the View Confirmations link.
3. Locate your trade's confirmation and click View.

To recover your username and/or password, please follow these steps:

1. From the Home tab, click the Need help signing on? link (beneath Customer Sign On)
2. Enter the information requested. If you need to recover your username in addition to the password, you will need to provide your ShareBuilder Account number.
3. Click Next.
4. Enter the answer to the question (created while opening your account).
5. Click Next.
6. Your username will be displayed and you will have the opportunity to enter & confirm a new password.
7. Click Submit to update your password and to be signed on to your ShareBuilder Account.

You can edit your Recurring Investment Allocation at anytime; however, changes to your Recurring Investment Allocation will only affect future contributions. The Monthly Program fee is based on the number of stocks you choose when allocating your funds. When your contribution arrives the open orders are created, and the fee is collected.

You can edit your Recurring Investment Allocation by following the instructions below:

1. Click on the Manage Your Account tab.
2. On the left navigation bar, click the Edit Recurring Allocations link.

Example: Tom's contribution arrives in his ShareBuilder Account on Thursday. At that time, open orders are created based on his Recurring Investment Allocation. On the next available Tuesday investment date (recurring and One-time Investments are executed every Tuesday of the month, excluding holidays) his orders are executed. At this time, he does not see a change in his account positions nor does he see his trade confirmations. On Wednesday, he receives an email notifying him that confirmations are available online. Tom logs into his ShareBuilder Account and can now view his updated portfolio positions and trade confirmations.

Each confirmation details how many shares were purchased, the purchase price and the transaction fee. The program fee for investments made as part of your Recurring Investment Allocation will not show on your confirmation, but are listed in the Transaction History section of the Manage Your Account tab, and on your monthly statements.

To view your confirmations, please follow the instructions below:

1. Click on the Manage Your Account tab.
2. On the left navigation bar, click the View Confirmations link.
3. Select the time period that you would like to see and click the View button.
4. Locate the confirmation you would like to see and click its corresponding View link.

The fee that is collected depends upon the type of transaction that you are placing. For specific information, please select the transaction type that you are inquiring about:

1. Go to the Manage Your Account tab.
2. On the left navigation bar, click the View Account Fees link.

The timing of your investment depends upon the type of transaction that you are placing. For specific information, please select the transaction type that you are inquiring about:

• Recurring Investments
• One-time Investments
• Real-time Trades

Real-time Trades

You can place a Real-Time Trades, both Market Orders ($15.95) and Limit Orders ($19.95), through your ShareBuilder Account. With a Real-Time Trade, you don't have to wait until the next scheduled investment date. Real-Time Trades can be placed at any time, and you have the option of placing either a market and limit order. You must have funds available in your money market cash balance to place a Real-Time Trade and you must place a separate order for each security you wish to buy or sell.

Note: If you submit your order after the market has closed, your trade order will activate after the start of the next market day.

One-time Investments

A One-time Investment enables you to invest any funds currently held in your money market cash balance. You may include as many securities as you wish in a One-time Investment order, with an open order being generated for each stock. These open orders will be executed on the next available Tuesday investment date.

Note: Recurring and One-time Investments are executed every Tuesday of the month, excluding holidays.
