Avoid Email Scams

Email scams are becoming more sophisticated every day. A particularly effective technique
is one where an email scammer sends you an email dressed up to look like it came from
ShareBuilder. In the email, they ask you verify your username and password or credit card
number or bank account number by entering the data into a form.
It is important to remember that ShareBuilder will never ask you to do this. This type of
scam is commonly called "Phishing" because the scammer is fishing for information.
If you receive an email that you suspect is fraudulent,
